The times may be different but our priorities remain the same…to help every client look & feel beautiful and to provide friendly service and state-of-the-art techniques in a safe and comfortable environment.
During this pandemic, we are just stepping things up a bit. We are adding new safety precautions and increasing sanitation measures that will be strictly enforced. Our clients are the best and we are confident that you will support our efforts to help make the reopening successful and safe for all.
Here’s what you can expect for your next appointment:
Wait in your car
Our waiting area is temporarily closed. When your stylist is ready to see you, we will call, text or step outside to welcome you into the studio.
Solo appointment
We need to limit the number of people in the studio. Therefore, please come to your appointment alone.
Wear a mask
We will not be able to let you into the studio without a mask that is properly worn. Your stylist will also be wearing a mask. If you forget yours, each stylist will have a limited supply of masks to share.
Arrive on time
We are adding a 5 to 15 minute window to each appointment to allow for proper check-in.
Temperature Check
Your stylist will take your temperature, using a no-touch digital thermometer. If you have a temperature of 100.4F or higher, you will be asked to leave. Each stylist will also have her temperature checked each day.
Sign liability waiver
Prior to your service, current guidelines require us to have you sign a liability waiver prior to any service. This helps to protect us all.
Leave drinks & food in your car
Our beverage station is temporarily closed. We can’t allow any outside food or drinks in the studio. It’s kind of hard to eat or drink with a mask on anyway!
Clean hands
When you enter the studio, you will go immediately to the kitchen to wash hands. We will also wash before each guest.
Other things to note during your appointment:
We WILL still wash your hair with your service.
Hugs and handshakes are on pause.
Blow drying is temporarily unavailable.
Masks MUST be worn by the stylist and the client during the entire appointment.
While the salon was closed, we spent time to receive Barbicide Certification. This ensures we adhere to the highest cleaning standards as we reopen. The following will become our daily routine:
Frequent hand washing
Disinfecting styling chairs, shampoo chairs, styling stations, shampoo sinks, tools, and mirrors after each client.
Change and launder capes, towels, and smocks after each client.
Disinfect all hard surfaces, including: door handles and knobs, restrooms, tables, counter tops and all high touch areas between appointments.
If you experience any health issues, please cancel your appointment ahead of time. If you have been ill or if you have been around anyone who has had an illness, please reschedule your appointment. Wait the recommended time of 14 days and then call to make an appointment.
We need your help to protect all studio employees and customers. Your patience and support is greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
We can’t wait to see you!
